Father and son by the fire
Far och son vid elden. Borneo 2008
For untold centuries, the indigenous Penan have hunted with blowpipes and poison darts in the forests of Borneo.
They depend on these forests to supply most of their needs: food, fiber, wood and much more.
Their native Sarawak forest may soon be gone, but the traditional nomads say, “We will not run, we will not leave. All we want is a patch of land where we belong.”
